Hard to believe they're running the largest war in Europe since World War II on $39 B in cash and $79 B in probably illiquid paper. And as Michal Sykutera says below, when the end comes, it's likely to get ugly in a hurry. You can only fail to pay, feed, and equip your troops for so long.
