As a south korean, I didn't want to believe NK can deliver hundreds thousand shells to other country. If they can even produce it, will be significant threat to SK security.
I'd love to hear your perspective on the availability of various 155 munitions from the US and Europe, particularly given the current goings on in the Middle East.
My layman impression is that Ukraine has enough to fight, but not enough to advance. And I'm guessing a defense is probably being circumscribed as well.
I seen pictures of older 152 and 122mm howitzers coming from the East as well. Considering the barrel wear of the current stock, they will be as important as more ammunition.
One minor correction:
We originally mentioned "net weight," but we meant to refer to the "gross weight." We apologize for any confusion.

Wonderful post as always.

good
Great analysis. I wonder if this 2000 containers is one-off thing or will it go on and at what rate?
Maybe it was unwise for SK to ship 0.5M of their own shells to Ukraine (via USA).
Do you know if they are importing charges for the 152mm? If yes, might change the calculus. If no, then might change the performance of those rounds.
